Bake the cake in a preheated 170 °C oven for 45 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean. Free the cake from the pan once baked, place it onto a wire rack and let it cool completely.
For the ganache, add 170 grams of chocolate chunks to a microwave-safe bowl together with 200 ml of whipping cream. Place the bowl in a microwave for a minute at a time, removing it after every minute and stir the mixture until the chocolate is melted.
