No Mixer Most Chocolate Cake

This no-mixer chocolate cake is the simplest chocolate cake recipe you need. It is topped with a silky, moist chocolate ganache for more chocolate flavour.

Into a mixing bowl, add one cup of all-purpose flour, 30 grams of cocoa powder, a quarter teaspoon of salt, half a teaspoon of baking powder and a quarter teaspoon of baking soda.

Stir the ingredients and set them aside. In another mixing bowl, add 2 eggs, 130 grams of sugar, a teaspoon of vanilla extract and 70 ml of vegetable oil.

Whisk the ingredients together until the eggs are broken and the sugar dissolved, and you have a homogenous mixture.

Sift in the prepared dry ingredients and start mixing everything, then add 80ml of hot water. Continue mixing until you have a smooth chocolate cake batter with no lumps. Pour the batter into a round 18cm prepared cake pan, and tap the pan on the counter to remove trapped air bubbles.
