👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Cook the Chicken Boil chicken in water until fully cooked. Remove, cool, and chop. Reserve the cooking liquid if needed.
  2. Make the Filling In a bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, broth, salt, and pepper. Stir in chopped chicken.
  3. Layer the Pie Lightly spray a 9×9 baking dish. Spoon half the chicken mixture into the dish. Top with strips of pie crust and dot with 1 tbsp butter.
  4. Bake First Layer Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 25 minutes.
  5. Add Second Layer Remove from oven. Spoon remaining chicken mixture on top. Add final crust strips and dot with remaining butter.
  6. Bake Until Golden Return to oven for another 25 minutes, or until crust is golden and bubbly. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.

  • Add sautéed onions or peas for extra flavor.
  • Use rotisserie chicken for a shortcut.
