Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground pork or ground chicken
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage or coleslaw mix
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 2 green onions, finely sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 15–20 egg roll wrappers
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • vegetable oil, for frying

Equipment

  • large skillet or wok

  • small bowl of water for sealing wrappers
  • deep skillet, pot, or air fryer

Method

 

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat with a small amount of oil.
  2. Add the ground meat and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks.
  3. Stir in the garlic, ginger, cabbage, carrots, and green onions.
  4. Cook for 3–4 minutes until vegetables soften slightly.
  5. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
