If using add-ins, gently fold them into the dough.
Scoop dough using a tablespoon or cookie scoop and place portions about 2 inches apart on the baking sheet.
Bake for 9–11 minutes, until the edges are set but the centers still look slightly soft.
Remove from the oven and let cookies cool on the pan for 5 minutes.
Transfer cookies to a wire rack to cool completely before serving.
