Last night, my husband and I had a small disagreement. It wasn’t a huge argument, but the words we exchanged left me feeling unsettled and restless. Afterward, we went to bed without really resolving anything.As I lay there in the dark, I tried to calm my mind, but the thoughts kept swirling. Was I too harsh? Was he upset with me?
The silence in the room felt heavy, and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t fall asleep. So, I just lay there with my eyes shut, pretending to be asleep, hoping that the quiet would eventually help me drift off.
